For added comfort, the design includes a foam padding, custom-cut at the front, providing comfortable support for the rider when fitting into the tail at high speeds.

Designed and manufactured at Puig's facilities located next to the Barcelona-Catalunya International Circuit in Montmeló, this product is developed using the most advanced technologies in technical plastic modeling.

It is made of high-quality ABS plastic, with a thickness of 4 mm and available in matte black, glossy black, or carbon-like finish, ensuring lightness and durability.

Its dimensions are 220 mm wide by 370 mm long.

Installation is very straightforward; just follow the step-by-step instructions provided. The Puig tail will be secured to the motorcycle using 3 concealed conical screws.

This tailpiece consists of two pieces, allowing the rider to choose the aesthetic they want for their bike during installation:

One piece: Offers a more conservative design, with a cover that sharpens the rear of the R1 to the maximum.

Two pieces: Provides a more aggressive and aerodynamic appearance, inspired by the competition tailpieces seen in MotoGP today.
Additionally, the tailpiece is designed with internal channels that make it lightweight and help reduce the turbulence generated by the air as it hits the rider and the bike’s volume. It also incorporates a black foam in the front, similar to the one used by competition riders, providing greater comfort and support for the rider when adjusting at high speeds.

On one hand, you can opt for a minimalist and elegant configuration, formed only by the base tail cover, which stylizes and sharpens the rear of the bike, highlighting its sporty lines and giving it a clean and sophisticated look.
On the other hand, you can select a more aggressive and aerodynamic configuration, combining the base tail cover with an additional aerodynamic shell. This shell mounts over the base tail cover, creating internal channels designed to reduce air turbulence generated by impact with the rider and the bike's body. Inspired by competition designs, this solution not only improves aerodynamics but also enhances the S1000RR’s sporty presence.
The design, with its sharp and defined lines, completes a rear with unique character, transforming the S1000RR into a true racing machine.

Designed and manufactured at Puig’s facilities near the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Montmeló, this tail cover is developed using state-of-the-art plastic molding technologies.
Made of 4 mm thick high-quality ABS, it offers excellent lightness and resistance to impacts and demanding conditions.

Available in matte black and carbon look finishes, perfectly matching the S1000RR’s design.

Installation is easy and quick. The base tail cover attaches directly to 3 mm aluminum metal supports supplied by Puig. If the complete configuration is chosen, the aerodynamic shell easily mounts over the base tail cover, creating a channeling effect that improves airflow. Puig also provides an adhesive to cover the top screws, ensuring a clean, professional finish.
Always consult photos and instructions before installation to ensure a perfect fit and avoid errors.
Estimated installation time is around 10 minutes. It’s advisable to periodically check screw tightness to maintain optimal fitting.

Its installation is very straightforward, as the Puig tailpiece uses the same or similar anchoring system to make the tailpiece installation as simple as possible.

Depending on the model, Puig tailpieces include a kit of adhesives to maintain the bike's colors with the installed product.
