The Puig rear license plate cover, developed exclusively for the Pista Kit, transforms the appearance of the bike’s rear end, providing a clean and sporty integration.
Conceived as both an aesthetic and functional solution, it replaces the original license plate holder and eliminates any trace of the stock mounting points, giving continuity to the subframe’s lines. Its three-dimensional design, with continuous surfaces and smooth transitions, ensures a precise fit under the seat cowl, completely covering the exposed structural holes.
Aerodynamic analysis applied to this area has made it possible to create a slightly inclined lower surface that acts as a decompression plane for the airflow, reducing vortex formation and improving rear-end stability at high speeds. The result is a minimalist, high-performance piece that reinforces the technical and competitive character of the R1300GS, both in off-road use and in sporty riding.
Made of 4 mm matte black ABS, it combines strength and lightness. Its dimensions are 236 mm wide, 226 mm high, and 53 mm deep. It can be installed independently or in combination with Puig’s special license plate holder for the Pista Kit.
Installation is quick and simple: it mounts directly to the bike using standard bolts and requires no mechanical knowledge. Estimated installation time is about 30 minutes.
