Developed from racing experience and redesigned by Puig for road motorcycle use, the Air Ducts for the Honda CB1000 Hornet 2025 are engineered to improve braking system performance and safety under demanding riding conditions. Brakes are a key element in motorcycle control and riding feel, and their performance can be affected by high temperatures caused by intense braking, continuous use, or high ambient temperatures.

Thanks to their specific design, the Air Ducts channel airflow toward the brake calipers, achieving an average temperature reduction of up to 10 degrees. This thermal improvement allows the brakes to operate within a more optimal range, increasing effectiveness, maintaining a more consistent braking feel, and preventing performance loss in high-demand situations.

The set consists of two cooling ducts for the brake calipers, designed and manufactured at Puig’s plant in Barcelona using the most advanced plastic molding technologies.

It includes steel brackets that ensure strength and rigidity, finished in textured black, discreet and perfectly integrated into the motorcycle’s aesthetics.

Installation is quick and easy and can be completed in just a few minutes by following the step-by-step instructions included in paper format or available online.

It is important to apply the specified tightening torque to prevent loosening, as this is a particularly sensitive area.

The cooling system acts as a channel that captures frontal air, compresses and accelerates it, directing it straight toward the brake calipers. This controlled airflow prevents overheating and allows the brakes to operate more efficiently.

In sporty riding situations, continuous braking, or high temperatures, the brakes tend to operate above their ideal range, causing a loss of efficiency and feedback at the handlebar. Thanks to the Air Duct, an average reduction of 10°C in brake caliper temperature is achieved, resulting in better performance and greater braking effectiveness.

This product is the result of close collaboration between the MotoGP Honda HRC team and Puig, allowing high-competition development to be transferred directly to street motorcycles.
