The Puig New Generation Touring screen for the KTM 990 DUKE is inspired by the praying mantis, a creature as unique and relentless as the motorcycle itself. With this design, Puig aims to enhance the exclusivity of the DUKE's new front end, setting it further apart from other naked bikes while adding extra rider protection.
The screen fully covers the instrument panel area, adapting to the aggressive lines of the front and highlighting the headlight shape to maintain perfect harmony with the Austrian bike's design. Its integration is seamless: it completely embraces the headlight, even at the front, achieving a flawless visual continuity that makes the front appear as a natural extension without interruptions or elements breaking its aesthetics.
At the top, the screen incorporates surfaces designed to maximize rider protection. Two well-defined ridges converge at the center, providing not only structural rigidity but also an extra touch of aggression that underscores the sporty character of the 990 DUKE.
Available in a wide range of finishes: dark smoke, light smoke, clear, matte black, and KTM's iconic orange.
Designed in Barcelona using advanced technology, the New Generation Touring screen is made of high-impact 4 mm thick CN acrylic and 3 mm metal supports with a textured black anti-corrosion coating.
Its total dimensions are 380 mm wide by 550 mm high, making it 270 mm taller from the handlebar.
Aerodynamic studies have shown that with the original screen, the rider endures a pressure of 9.2 kg, while with the Touring screen, this is reduced to just 1.5 kg. This represents an 84% improvement in wind protection, particularly noticeable in the chest area, where the pressure relief translates into greater comfort and stability while riding.
Installing the screen is an easy, quick, and straightforward task: it won’t take more than 30 minutes.
It is recommended to periodically check the screws' tightness.
The NG Touring Screen by Puig for the 2025 Honda CB750 Hornet has been developed to provide greater aerodynamic protection in the rider’s torso area, especially on long trips or at high speeds, without compromising the aggressive and streamlined design that defines this mid-size naked bike.
Inspired by fighter jet aerodynamics, its design channels the frontal airflow to redirect it toward less sensitive parts of the rider’s body. The upper surface acts like a large wing that guides the air and deflects it efficiently, reducing pressure on the rider.
A central air intake channel is incorporated into this surface, whose design has been validated through aerodynamic studies by Puig. It minimizes turbulence and reduces noise perceived while riding.
The lower shapes reinforce the screen’s structural rigidity and are reminiscent of fighter jet front wings. The side surfaces act as integrated deflectors, further enhancing overall protection.
The central channel and its two sharp lines harmonize with the shape of the headlight and front of the Hornet, offering a sporty and balanced aesthetic integration between screen and motorcycle.
Available in dark smoke, light smoke, clear, and black to match every rider’s style.
Made from 3 mm thick high-impact acrylic, this screen includes 3 mm metal brackets coated in a textured black anti-corrosive finish, ensuring durability and strength.
With dimensions of 250 mm wide and 365 mm high, the NG Touring Screen by Puig is 135 mm taller than the Honda CB750 Hornet’s instrument cluster, offering significantly improved aerodynamic protection without compromising the compact and sporty look of the bike.
According to a study by Puig, the NG Touring Screen reduces air pressure on the rider by 18% compared to the original screen, from 11.5 kg of pressure with the stock screen to just 9.4 kg with the Puig Touring screen.
This reduction in frontal pressure translates to greater comfort while riding, less accumulated fatigue, and significantly improved safety, especially on long journeys or at high speeds.
Includes aerodynamic study developed by Puig.
TÜV approved product.
The new Puig NG Touring Windshield for the 2025 YAMAHA MT-07 has been designed to significantly improve torso protection for the rider, especially on long trips, without sacrificing aesthetics or disrupting the iconic design of the MT-07.
Inspired by the aerodynamic shapes of fighter jets, this windshield incorporates a top design that channels frontal air and redirects it to less exposed areas of the body, thus improving comfort and reducing direct wind impact. A highlight is the central channel with an integrated air intake, the result of aerodynamic studies conducted by Puig, which reduces turbulence and noise experienced by the rider during riding.
The lower shapes, with a small deflector appearance, add structural rigidity to the windshield and reinforce its aerodynamic character, while the side lines harmonize with the front of the bike, achieving a fluid, balanced, and elegant design.
Available in the following colors: dark smoke, light smoke, clear, and black.
If you have a naked-type motorcycle with non-round headlights, the new generation of Puig windshields will be the best complement for your machine.
Manufactured in PMMA, it will guarantee the best protection against possible impacts and above all, against the wind and weather conditions that may arise while riding. In addition, it gives your motorcycle a greater aerodynamic capacity.
As for the aerodynamic capacity, Puig provides together with the piece, the aerodynamic study of the piece during the creation process.
The new generation of Puig windshields adapts perfectly to your motorcycle model and is sometimes available in two types: New Generation Sport or New Generation Touring.
The user can not only decide the type of windshield, but also has the chance of choosing from a wide range of colors for the one that best suits the aesthetic line of his motorcycle.
The assembly of the new windshield is a very easy task that comes with instructions. It is intuitive and visual, to facilitate the placement of the new fairing.
