The touring screen for the BMW R1300GS and R1300GS ADVENTURE aims to be a piece that, like the bike, meets all functional and design expectations. It mainly stands out for its size, being 35mm higher than the original screen, which is enough to provide extra comfort and protection during riding. In the case of the Adventure model, which already has a higher original screen, the Puig screen is 20mm lower but is designed to remain equally effective for riders 1.8 – 1.9 m tall.

The front notch has a design inspired by the bike's lifting mechanism, so its lines, besides stiffening the screen and giving it a fully sporty character, clearly match the shapes found behind the screen. Furthermore, the lower area perfectly adapts to the radar, ensuring that such an important part of the bike does not lose prominence. It is fully compatible with all original BMW and Puig accessories: mirrors, handguard extensions, front deflectors.... Available in dark smoke, light smoke, clear, and with a graphic decoration that will make your bike unique.

Designed and manufactured at PUIG's facilities next to the Barcelona international circuit, using the most advanced technologies and over 50 years of experience in the sector. Manufactured in high-quality 4mm thick CN Acrylic material. Its total measurements are 350mm wide by 418mm high.

The Puig touring screen is 35mm higher than the original touring screen on the R1300GS model and 20mm lower than the original screen on the R1300GS ADVENTURE. An aerodynamic study conducted with the R1300GS model indicates that with the original screen, the rider supports 2.4kg of pressure, and with the touring screen 2kg, resulting in a 10% improvement. Enduring less air pressure during riding results in greater comfort, less fatigue, and therefore increased riding safety for the pilot.

Easy to mount, the user will install the screen supplied by Puig just like the original, only adding small plugs that prevent the possibility of oxidation and are placed in the 4 threads that remain unused once the user has chosen to mount the screen in the high or low position.

Aerodynamic study.

Touring screens, developed by Puig in Barcelona, are designed with the objective to aerodynamically protect the rider without affecting his/her field vision. In addition, these screens fit perfectly with the adventure style and aesthetics of the trail models thanks to their wide range of colors and different sizes.

These Touring screens are manufactured using the most advanced technologies, using 4mm thick acrylic material, with UV protection and with a 2mm rounded edge. This finish gives it a more elegant touch and offers greater security, fulfilling with the regulations of the German TÜV.

The assembly of this screen follows a process that can be done without having to ask for a mechanic thanks to its simple and intuitive adaptation. The package also includes the aerodynamic studies that have emerged from comparing the Puig screen with the original in a virtual wind tunnel.
